Key components of Norton's environmental management strategy include compliance with regulatory guidelines, ongoing rehabilitation of previously mined areas, implementation of energy efficiency opportunities and environmental training and awareness.

We recently implemented a number of energy efficiency and emissions reduction initiatives, in addition to several mitigation strategies that were developed to manage and resolve environmental risks. The strategy to continually seek opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint is being incorporated into our normal business practices.
